Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about formats, devices, limits, privacy, and troubleshooting.

What file formats do you support?

Tweet videos download as MP4. X Spaces export as M4A audio. GIFs are saved as MP4 (how X stores them). Broadcast replays download as video files. The format is chosen automatically from your URL.

Can I download from private or protected accounts?

No. Only publicly visible content can be fetched. Subscriber-only posts, protected tweets, and private Spaces are not supported, and we never ask for your X login.

How do I download on iPhone or iPad?

Open Safari, visit the downloader, copy the tweet link from the X app, paste it, and tap Download. Open the Files app, then Downloads to play the MP4.

How do I download on Android?

Copy the tweet URL in the X app, open this site in Chrome, paste the link, and tap Download. The file appears in your Downloads folder or notification shade.

How do I download X Spaces?

Copy the Space link (x.com/i/spaces/...) and paste it into the downloader. You receive an M4A file. Live Spaces usually require a finished replay. See our guide for details.

Do I need to create an account?

No registration, subscription, or payment is required.

Are there daily download limits?

There is no fixed daily limit. Extremely long Spaces (several hours) may time out. Try again during off-peak hours if needed.

Do you store my links or files?

URLs are processed to complete your download and are not kept long-term. Files are deleted from our servers within one hour. See the privacy policy.

Why did my download fail?

Common causes: deleted or private content, a Space still live without replay, wrong URL format, or a temporary network issue. Confirm the link opens on x.com first, then retry.

Why is processing slow?

HD videos and multi-hour Spaces take longer to extract. Keep the tab open until the progress bar finishes.

Is downloading Twitter content legal?

You are responsible for complying with copyright law in your country. Only download content you created, own, or have explicit permission to save. Read our disclaimer.
